How do I make a reservation?

You can book your stay directly through our website or by contacting our team. Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive a detailed confirmation email with check-in instructions, directions, and everything you need to prepare for your visit.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is required to confirm your booking. The exact amount and payment details will be outlined during checkout. Your remaining balance is typically due closer to your arrival date.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within the stated notice period are eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on timing and seasonality. We recommend reviewing our cancellation terms during booking or reaching out if you have questions before reserving.

Can I book multiple units for a group stay?

Absolutely! You can reserve multiple wagons, tipis, or cabins for your group — whether it’s a family getaway, friends’ weekend, or company retreat. Just note that units book quickly during peak season, so early reservations are encouraged.

What amenities are included with my stay?

All accommodations at Wildflower Ranch include comfortable beds and linens, a Nespresso machine, mini fridge, indoor seating, and a private outdoor picnic area with umbrella. Cabins also feature wood-burning stoves, private decks, and fire pits, with some offering full kitchens and bathrooms.

Are the units heated or air-conditioned?

Yes — our Conestoga Wagons and Cabins are equipped with heating and/or air conditioning to ensure comfort in every season. Our Luxury Tipis feature natural airflow and ventilation, along with small heaters; ideal for warm-weather and slightly cooler stays.

Do the units have private bathrooms or kitchens?

Cabins #2 and #3 include a full bathroom with shower and a gas cooktop kitchenette. Cabin #1 includes a mini-fridge and Nespresso but no full kitchen or bathroom. Wagons and Tipis offer glamping-style accommodations with shared access to modern washrooms nearby.

How many people can stay in each unit?

Cabins: 6–8 guests depending on layout
Conestoga Wagons: up to 4 guests (king + bunks)
Luxury Tipis: up to 4 guests (king + pull-out queen couch)

Is bedding included?

Yes — all accommodations include high-quality bedding and linens, with some bunk beds in the cabins requiring a sleeping bag. Please reach out for more information

Is Wi-Fi available?

Wi-Fi is available in the common area at the front of the ranch, though signal strength can vary depending on your location as you move further away. We like to think of it as the perfect opportunity to disconnect a little.

Are pets allowed?

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in select units for an additional cleaning fee and must be kenneled when left alone and leashed on the property. Please notify us when booking so we can assign you to a pet-friendly accommodation.

Where is Wildflower Ranch located?

We’re just a short drive from Edmonton and Sherwood Park, surrounded by Alberta’s beautiful prairie landscape. Detailed directions and access info will be sent once your booking is confirmed.

Is there parking on site?

Yes — The entrance to the ranch has a large parking lot.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, depending on availability.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend packing your favorite food and beverages, weather-appropriate clothing, toiletries, insect repellent, towels, and any specialty items for outdoor fun — think lawn games, fishing gear, or a good book. We provide all bedding and basic essentials.

Are campfires allowed?

Yes — each cabin includes a private fire pit, and there are shared fire areas for guests staying in wagons or tipis. Firewood is available for purchase on site, subject to local fire bans.

Is Wildflower Ranch open year-round?

Most of our accommodations are open seasonally from spring through fall, with select cabins available year-round. Availability and operating months may vary depending on weather conditions.

Can I explore the nearby ranch or see the bison?

Yes — Wildflower shares its roots with our sister property, True Grit Buffalo Ranch, located on the same land. Seasonal tours and experiences may be available, offering guests a chance to learn about Alberta’s prairie heritage, sustainable ranching practices, and seeing the bison behind the safety of gates and fences.
